A folkloric study of the Prácheňsko Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances, based in Strakonice and headed by local teacher Josef Režný, a passionate collector of oral tradition and folk songs. The film shows the region's cultural significance as the land of the Strakonice bagpipers and the birthplace of František Ladislav Čelakovský. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
