Eli Roth fez a cópia do filme anterior, com apenas pequenas diferenças, os personagens principais - jovens homens substituídos por raparigas bonitas e Jan Vlasák substituído por Milan Kňažko. Surpreendentemente, não achei o segundo filme tão horrível, insuportável e aborrecido como o primeiro. Só espero que Eli Roth nunca mais regresse à República Checa.

A bit worse than the first Hostel, but with some very good scenes. Overall, it’s a slightly above-par film that shouldn’t disappoint fans of the exploitation subgenre. The ending is quite impressive.

Again, absolutely idiotic, but still better than the first part. During the scene of the dramatic march towards the beginning of the torture in the background with Slovak folk music, I had an uncontrollable fit of laughter, just like when I realized that I knew both important torturers from Desperate Housewives and seeing them in such a subordinate role, which they both almost perversely enjoyed, was an experience. However, I can't go higher than the unserious one-star rating. The whole concept of Slovakia and the extremely stupidly pointed story is disgraceful.
