In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer. Adam "Bug" Heller was supposed to die on the last night the Riverton Ripper wrecked havoc on that terrifying night. Unaware of terrifying crimes being committed to the seven children, he has been plagued by nightmares of their murders while not aware if they hold true or if he is simply imagining the images that haunt him. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that has returned, he must face an evil that will not rest... until it finishes the job it began the day he was born. português Craven mistura o esquema do filme de assassino adolescente com as inseguranças esquizofrénicas do personagem principal e o estranho simbolismo de um predador a comer carniças, e o resultado é uma mistura de momentos de WTF tão incrivelmente confusa que é difícil de acreditar que o mesmo cineasta tenha lidado com tal dignidade o episódio mais sofisticado da franquia gritante um ano mais tarde. inglês Nonsense with a killer disguised as a condor! The trailer was not that bad, but the feature length could not hide Craven’s weaknesses (he’s never been consistent, so the hopes that the fourth Scream will be good remain alive). At times, it felt as if the plot of My Soul to Take had come from yet unexplored corners of screenwriting stupidity. It’s dumb, ridiculous, without atmosphere and with zero interesting murders. In modern slashers, it’s not enough for the killer to eviscerate their victims once with a knife (mostly out of frame). Also, Bug, the blond guy, is probably the most moronic protagonist since the invention of cinema. This film intellectually raped, murdered, buried, unburied and desecrated me. I don’t recommend it. ()
