Interestingly enough, I like these old ghost films mostly because of the classic special effects used, like inter-cutting scenes, levitating objects, and so on. Even though it's 80 years old, it works beautifully. Yes, there's also a pretty good story with a very enjoyable cast, with Cary Grant even more of a rebel here.
