The Killers

Two killers role into a small town and kill a local gas-station attendant known as "The Swede" (Burt Lancaster), who seems to have been expecting their visit. An insurance investigator (Edmond O'Brien) on the case digs up the crime, betrayal, and involvement of a glamorous femme fatale (Ava Gardner) behind the ex-fighter's death.
