The Walking Dead - Série 8

Season 8 managed to surpass even the terrible Season 7 with how boring and annoying it was. The creators of the series are obviously clueless, so most of the runtime was taken up by incredibly silly dialogue and speechifying, in which the speakers made the mistake of not painting half their face blue, riding a horse and waving a two-handed sword around. Once again, the creators decided to go for melodramatic scenes and Gabriel's religious claptrap, while the story was stalling and lacking in logic and the only charismatic bad guy turned into a caricature of himself. The Walking Dead has gone downhill in terms of quality in its eighth season. All the time you are watching it, you feel like this is simply something to pass the time before you see the great big thing. Then the great big thing comes, goes away again, and you realize that this was definitely not what you were hoping for. We can only hope that season nine will be better so that we might be finally able to enjoy more action, better twists, and more interesting character work. (18/11/2019)
