Set in the harsh world of the American juvenile detention system, Dog Pound tells the story of 17-year-old Adam "Butch" Butcher, charged with assaulting a corrections officer. If convicted, he faces hard time in an adult prison, but as witnesses emerge to support his claim of self-defense, Butch is told that with two weeks of clean behavior, he could be acquitted and released. Facing attacks from hardened criminals and ruthless guards, he finds he has to become vicious in order to survive.
