Boog, Elliot e todos os seus amigos da floresta voltam para mais uma aventura, a mais rápida e peluda de sempre e, desta vez, é num famoso circo. Quando os amigos de Boog não se conseguem juntar a ele para a viagem anual de amigos, ele decide fazer a viagem sozinho. Quando se depara com um circo visitante, Boog troca de lugar com outro urso e toma o seu lugar no espetáculo. Contudo, quando o circo decide voltar para a Rússia, Elliot, McSquizzy, o Sr. Weenie e o resto do grupo apressam-se para salvar Boog antes que seja demasiado tarde. (HBO Portugal)

Why it's still called Open Season is hard to say anymore, but it's clear it's due to the characters. Characters that are no longer even remotely funny and just show that for creating an animated feature film, you don't need a good script, just inertia. If there's going to be a fifth film, then anything is possible.

The series lost most of what I loved so much about the first Open Season somewhere around the middle of the second one. The third film capped off the sad mess with an extremely boring story and much cheaper looking animation.
