Na era das longas-metragens da Pixar, Spirit, com os seus gráficos tradicionalmente animados, já não podia ter sucesso em grande escala. Embora cativante, poético e aventureiro, tem coração e o esplendor colossal de Zimmer. Normalmente eu não ouviria Bryan Adams no carro, mas esta banda sonora acompanhou-me durante anos a descer os desvios alpinos. E foram momentos maravilhosos.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is a movie where the lack of dialogue does not affect the viewer's ability to get what is going on. It is a movie with a fairly simple narrative that feels quite profound because of its context with the great soundtrack. It is a movie about a friendship between a man and a wild horse, and the desire for freedom and the final leap over the abyss reminded me of the famous movie Free Willy. All in all, I liked it. 8/10.
