Tigre v meste

Set in Bratislava, this successful mash-up of an indie character comedy and a detective thriller centres on thirty-something prosecutor Rudolf Jazvec. Like everyone else, he longs for true love. The supporting characters, with all their anxiety and desperate attempts to find happiness, are proof that it’s tough to be normal in an absurd world. But there’s one thing Rudolf is blissfully unaware of: he’s being stalked by a hitman.
While the lead of Juraj Krasnohorský’s feature debut is hetero, its original approach, gender-bending cast (Rudolf is played by actress Kristína Tóthová) and gay supporting character make for a brilliant queer comedy. (Filmový festival inakosti)
