All Things Were Now Overtaken by Silence is a film about the filming of a play. The play is a monologue from Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’s poem First I Dream. We see the actress Jesusa Rodríguez patiently waiting between shots as the director and crew decide shots, setup the lights and move the camera around. The film is a meditation on filmmaking and its process. (Doc Alliance Films)
