inglês I feel that for the first time I ran into a movie that I can’t seem to be able to match to a particular country. It was evidently made by an Iranian director, but on the other hand I don’t believe that it wasn’t supported by English capital. Well and the language that wasn’t similar to Georgian literally fascinated me so I was pretty confused all the way through. Nevertheless, The President is my first experience with the director Mohsen and I must say I like him. This is a very interesting flick the only problem with which is that it incites almost no emotions at all. I say almost because there was a bit of that, but so very little that it’s not really worth mentioning. I should add that it’s hard to incite emotions for a dictator who is simply and purely trying to survive. On the other hand, I feel that there are no limits to realism here. All the rest this film can handle, including the ending. In the end it’s up to you and what frequency your brain is tuned to if you don’t want to be unnecessarily disappointed by this piece. I was satisfied, but I have already said it all. ()
