Police commissioner Martin Griffon (Claude Brasseur) invenstigates the assassination of attorney d'Alins. Griffon soon finds out that the murder is connected to the corruption in high spheres. When a police commissioner, Martin Griffon (Claude Brasseur), is determined to track down sources of corruption that reach up to the higher echelons of government he has no idea who he can trust and who not.
