inglês The Perfect Husband was one of my anticipated horror films and surprisingly outperformed its trailer. If you remember this year's Honeymoon, this is its little sibling in a more brutal guise. A married couple goes to a cabin for a weekend to relax, but instead of a romantic love trip, they both go at each other's throats once the husband starts suspecting his wife of infidelity. The first 50 minutes may be slower, but after that the film revs up like a Porsche downhill and we witness a solid carnage that makes for an enjoyable horror experience thanks to convincing performances, an amazing soundtrack (the beat literally pumps your heart) and decent brutality. The final twist is amazing and shocked me like nothing in a long time. The Italians are on form and I loved their food! Story 6/10, Atmosphere 7//10, Gore 7/10, Visuals 7/10, Action 7/10, Suspense 8/10, Humor NO, Entertainment 7/10 P.S.: For the first time in a long time, I had trouble breathing during a horror movie. inglês Some pretty interesting horror stuff is starting to flow out of Italy again. This is one such example. English-speaking actors are again an advantage, but in this case, the story itself can also be intriguing, becoming a rather interesting exploitation that I couldn't quite decide whether the final point is to the benefit of the whole thing or not. It wasn't bad at all, although it was pretty straightforward. The gore effects are well done, and at times, it reminded me of old-school techniques, which I appreciated. ()
