Wo de zhan zheng

I was hoping for a more interesting experience. China is not even close to Korea, but I must admit that visually the film is on a decent level and the action dominates over the dialogues, which is also a plus. The action, however, is not very gripping, there’s blood spurting sometimes, but there are no gore shots, I found it so unexciting, which may be due to the number of films I have seen, someone less experienced may enjoy this film more. I wasn't bored, as a one-off it was fine. Pluses: brisk pace, decent visuals. Minuses: no main character, zero emotion, unexciting action. 60%. (01/12/2016)
