Um drama belo, delicadamente dirigido e representado sobre as dificuldades de crescer e encontrar a própria identidade nas duras condições de vida (e de família). No entanto, é pouco imaginativo em termos de argumento. Localizações islandesas bem trabalhadas visualmente. Precisamente entre 3* e 4*.

I’m not saying that the film is a masterpiece that I'm planning on rewatching every other day (fans of the action genre should avoid it entirely), but I enjoyed the plot, atmosphere, and setting throughout. The film is about adolescence and sexual awakening and the young actors were really convincing in it. Although the film also contains the now practically inevitable gay storyline, it felt okay here. It didn’t seem forced onto the plot, so it didn't smack of political correctness. In fact, it made it all enjoyably human.
