The Book of Birdie

Birdie, a fragile teenager with an overactive imagination, is moved to an isolated convent, where her fantasies are supposed to simmer down. But a certain obsession will begin gnaw at her. When she meets Julia, the maintenance girl, Birdie will become infatuated with her, but without abandoning the fascination she feels for the hallucinations that haunt her, and not knowing if they are a result of godliness or of evil.
