It probably couldn't be expected that this film would be groundbreaking or new; Nicolas Cage doesn't even get the main role here, although he's on the scene quite a bit towards the end, but the film is quite gritty and sexy, it has its good moments, and as a one-time thriller, it works. I quite enjoy Cage's simple films and they don't offend my taste.
