inglês If I was supposed to watch a Christmas comedy this year, then only France with Alain Chabat, and it is very well done. In fact, I wouldn't be afraid to label this film as one of the best with a Christmas theme. Santa's 92,000 elves get sick and he decides to go to Earth among humans for the first time to find an effective cure. I liked that Santa didn't really fit into our world, he doesn't know our customs, traditions at all, and that creates a lot of funny situations. The film takes a more family-friendly route, it's not that crazy and definitely not perverted, it's simply a show for the whole family with an excellent performance by Chabat as Santa and a few decent jokes. Fun entertainment with a nice resolution and the opening, where toys are being made, is literally brilliant. Story****, Action>No, Humor****, Violence>No, Enjoyment****, Music***, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Tension***. 7.5/10. ()

inglês Not even the deluge of ideas that Alain Chabat has there is enough to secure the full enjoyment for the viewer. Personally I expected that it would be crazy from the beginning till the end considering it is a Christmas comedy by Alain Chabat. But it only has its crazy moments occasionally and the result isn’t anything exceptional. It is a pity. It wouldn’t even occur to me that after Asterix and Rrrrr! this would be his most “normal” movie. ()
