Lilly the Little Fish is a children’s film which could be appreciated by adults as well, as it tackles issues of concern for contemporary children and their parents. A fairy-tale movie about an extraordinary child, whose sex changes every time somebody looks her/him in the eyes. In their effort to help her/him, the child’s parents take her/him to a small village in the countryside. There the child meets a peer – Lily, the granddaughter of a speaking Japanese carp and the daughter of travelling gypsy-magicians. Tale about responsible parents and their sensitive children. A story with fantastic characters and about love in all its forms. (Bulgarian Film Festival)
