Ordeal by Innocence

The dream setting of every viewer of period detective stories, in the form of a monumental mansion, a perfectly assembled cast – and yet almost nothing fits together, perhaps due to changes from the original. The average rating is saved by the charms of Ella Purnell and the perfectly slimy Matthew Goode, whose schemes amused me much more than the actual hunt for the culprit or the interwoven memories.
