Lambeth Lights

A homeless man becomes fond of a girl from Eastern Europe who sells magazines outside a London tube station. She is blind and imagines he is wealthy. He will stop at nothing – prostitution, prize fighting, or robbery – to pay for an eye operation for her. (Montreal World Film Festival)
