Chernobyl, 1986

Seven months after the Chernobyl disaster, Dmitri, a security guard at the nuclear power plant, is watching over one of the entrances to the contaminated area. The appearance of a soldier whose job is to clean up the plant will make Dmitri question his role at the guard post. Based on real testimonies, Chernobyl, 1986 tries to figure out human behavior in moments of crisis. (Sitges Film Festival)
