After countless millennia of watching, waiting and stalking, the unholy creatures known as werewolves are poised to inherit the earth. Legendary horror icon Christopher Lee faces off against lusty cult favorite Sybil Danning in this terrifying descent into a world of nightmares that turns out to be all too real! After newscaster Karen White's shocking on-screen transformation and violent death (in the original The Howling), her brother Ben (Reb Brown) is approached by Stefan Crosscoe (Lee), a mysterious man who claims that Karen has, in fact, become a werewolf. But this is the least of their worries... To save mankind, Stefan and Ben must travel to Transylvania to battle and destroy Stirba (Danning), the immortal queen of all werewolves, before she is restored to her full powers! inglês I had no expectations for this movie, yet it caught me off-guard. Howling II (with the really stupid subtitle Your Sister is a Werewolf) continues the story from where the first movie left off, but it seems to be absolutely unrelated to its directing style and quality. The screenplay is one big cesspit, which tries to turn upside down the whole werewolf mythology eventually losing itself in the confusion. It also contains really terribly written dialogue which makes you feel quite sorry for the charismatic Christopher Lee having to deliver those lines. Plus, the fact that all the other actors in the movie are stiff and wooden only adds to the overall fun factor of this garbage. Yes, fun is guaranteed, but don't expect quality. You can expect exterior scenes filmed in the Czech Republic and a handful of Czech actors, of whom Jirka Krytinář in the role of a fighting dwarf will become dear to you. My last remark concerns the editing: because the inappropriate and ridiculous fading out of scenes was really the icing on the cake, and the final act of the creators' effort to demolish any seriousness of this horror film. One day, I will be happy to watch it again, but only as a comical piece from the list of "so bad it's good" movies. ()

inglês It's not a great film, and the Czech actors in it are terrible, but on the other hand, for me, this was a B-movie where everything I imagined was there - bad scripts, great actors, nudity, brutality, and everything slightly turned upside down. Howling II is a downgrade from the first film, but a also change of genre that I ended up liking quite a bit. And the closing credits are beautifully cheesy. ()
