Creepshow Animated Special

Shame that this is that cheap type of animation where they make little pictures move. Visually uninspiring. An adaptation of one of my favorite King stories; and Kiefer’s enchanting voice does a lot too. But this story about a man who eats himself works much better in text form. And this certainly applies to Hill’s Twittering visit to the Circus of the Dead which in its visual form was terribly predictable. Cartoon gore isn’t scary... Basically, this is for people too lazy to read... and for fans of Kiefer, King Sr. and King Jr. (20/11/2020)
