Necrotongue

Oh well, in Norway they had October while we had a storm and the air was like in a sauna. Once again, the screenwriters didn't hesitate and filled the episode with many events, tension, and action. The story unfolded at a very decent pace this time as well, so I had a good time again and boredom didn't threaten even by accident.

I don't know what it is, but I really enjoy this Norwegian political dance between the eggs. I am only worried about the character of former Prime Minister Jesper Berg, I have already finished the second episode and he hasn't been kidnapped even once. Weird. I'm glad that the creators didn't let themselves be carried away and didn't increase the number of episodes, so I can calmly expect them to maintain the same quality until the end of the season.

Just like my colleague Cheeter, I had concerns from the second row, but the rebels took their time, they didn't rush anything, instead they jumped into action in August and already in the first episode they convinced me that I will enjoy the second season, so hurrah for September!

Season 2 was a little weaker. My main problem was the fact that it lacked a typical villain. As the story didn't focus on a single goal, it seemed to be dragging and didn't have the pace I was used to in the first season. I could have easily done without some of the storylines, and the ending was too predictable. On the other hand, I did have a good time even the second time around. While blockbusters with a superhero theme don't really do it for me lately, I do enjoy similarly themed series. Unlike those slick superheroes flying around, Jessica Jones slowly staggers through the city with a bottle of cheap bourbon with a much more genuine vibe.

The final episode of the second season had several strong moments, but on the other hand, it disappointed me. My biggest problem was with the predictability of some events, the element of surprise completely disappeared from the series for me. All I can do is hope that the next season will be up to par again. 4 stars.

I was not very satisfied this time either, because Trish stayed alive and again a unnecessarily large amount of time was devoted to Jeri and her problems. It's a paradox, but compared to the previous episode, I added one star precisely for Jeri. I had to appreciate her perfectly cold-blooded manipulation.

The eleventh episode had its bright moments, but there weren't enough of them. The chat with the dead worked very well in Dexter, but here it was incredibly annoying, and on top of that, there was that deranged idiot Trish, and the fun went nowhere. After the first season, I am still more and more disappointed, and that is really a shame.

Although I enjoyed the tenth episode more than the previous one, it wasn't enough for the fifth piece. And again, Trish and Jeri are to blame, I'm really bored with them. The prison scenes were fine, they even maintained some atmosphere, and as usual, the best came at the end.

I still have this persistent feeling that the second season is missing a main antagonist, so the creators have to resort to family dramas and the series unnecessarily loses quality. Moreover, I am increasingly annoyed by the characters of Jeri and Trish, Jeri only slows down the pace of the story and Trish brings nothing new and is no longer entertaining.

After the flashback episode, a return to the current events occurred and the evaluation went down again. It would need a change, Trish with her inhaler is like a broken record, Jeri's storyline doesn't interest me at all, and only the action-packed ending brought some hope, so we'll see.
