A good family comedy, equal to the better classic films of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, although not quite up to their best.

John Frankenheimer he is one of the best action directors (not only) of his time! I didn't mind a single second of the film, it's gripping and suspenseful, it exudes old school while still being relevant. I also recommend the book.

After watching it in a slightly better mood, I raise my rating and give Elektra two and a half stars. One is for Jennifer Garner (yeah, yeah, I know), the second is for Terence Stamp and the overall pleasant, comic-book atmosphere, and I give half a star to the music, which, although it didn't particularly stand out in the film, is worth listening to on its own.

A very, very good film, I like it very much... But I'm still not giving it 5 stars. It simply not on the level of Carlito's Way, and that's because Tony Montana is a bastard who you can't really root for. However, all those responsible for Scarface did a very good job.__P.S. Anyone who doesn't hold their breath even once during the chainsaw scene has something wrong with them.

I hate spiders, but I love this one. Ralph Fiennes confirms that he can play anything, but if his character is weird in any way, so much the better for him (and for us). Four strong stars after the first viewing, a clear five after the second. And the fact that I knew the point didn't matter at all. As a friend of mine once said - the film is like a popsicle. Chilling, but damn good.

This is a film from which I didn't expect anything special, and that is exactly what I got. The Moravian landscape, which I love, Tereza Voříšková, whom I don't love, but if I could, I would definitely love, and Lubomír Lipský all made it deserve three stars. Grapes has a nice mood, the end of summer is almost breathing out of the film... But only almost, because you still feel like you're flipping through a magazine full of photos rather than "being right there for an hour and a half".

I don't know if the film has matured, or if I have, either way, whatever qualms I had with Emmerich's Godzilla are gone. It's an excellent disaster comedy with consistently impressive visual effects that can be compared to Independence Day without exaggeration, thanks in part to Arnold's excellent score.

It's neither a dud, nor significantly above average. As a Saturday/Sunday afternoon film, it’s ideal. The only thing that’s above-average is Goldsmith music.

As the blurb says: “It’s not a lot of fun.” Still, you'll laugh sometimes – sometimes at the jokes, sometimes at the empty heads of the people who thought this thing up. That said, Malcom McDowell is brilliant as a B-movie villain.

Weak four stars. I had fun, but I expected something juicier from Burton. The best scene of the entire film is the bloodless daydreaming of Todd and Mrs. Lovett.
