The bleak setting of an isolated Irish house amidst the moors creates a fantastic atmosphere for this film. This kind of setting is exactly what I love in stories. Add Florence Pugh, who I've been seeing a lot of lately — and I'm not complaining. The plot is very quiet, the pacing quite artful, and by the time you fully grasp what's happening, the film is nearly over. Interestingly, I found the ending to be the best part, especially compared to the rather slow-moving film overall. ()
