The story is about two refugees, a fifteen year old Somalian boy (Ali) and a forty-year old Iranian man (Massoud) who after two years of waiting for a residence permit escape from the asylum camp. We follow them on the run through Sweden and the film also describes the relationship between the two characters and also their relations with Sweden and with the people they meet there. Even though the refugee topic is relevant in all of Europe, the film is not primarily a political comment, but instead a story about friendship and love. (Sonet Film)

Algo como The Ride de Svěrák, mas mais selvagem, agitado, honesto, aberto e emocional. Com desempenhos belamente sentidos e dedicados. Há muito tempo que não vejo a câmara e a edição tão fortemente e tão precisamente ligadas aos sentimentos dos personagens (muitos focos de rostos íntimos). Uma surpresa muito agradável que não precisa de pretender ser «arte» e que fala ao espetador numa linguagem universal.
