Um trio de documentários muito simpáticos que retratam a descoberta das Ilhas Galápagos, a singularidade de algumas das suas ilhas e a singularidade dos animais que nelas vivem (e alguns até SOMENTE nelas). É apenas uma pena que os temas dos três episódios se cruzem e que algumas das filmagens e partes do comentário, que as acompanha, se repitam. Do ponto de vista conceptual, teria feito mais sentido concentrar-se num assunto diferente em cada episódio. Um elogio particular deve ser dado à magnífica embalagem de papel duro do 3-DVD, que evoca mais um belo livro do que uma caixa de DVD.
