Šódžo cubaki

I thought I had seen a lot from the Japanese, but they always manage to surprise me. This is what they did with Midori. It's short, it's anime, but it's terrifyingly captivating. Here, it's very evident that the filmmakers regarded the manga as brilliant, and at some moments, they essentially just use pages from it. Great, if bizarrely unpleasant. (21/11/2015)
