Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston). He thinks all that’s ahead is an easy payday, but when Nicole gives him the slip so she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up, Milo realizes that nothing ever goes simply with him and Nicole. The exes continually one-up each other – until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honor and obey was tough – staying alive is going to be a whole lot tougher. Andy Tennant (Hitch, Sweet Home Alabama) directs. (texto oficial do distribuidor)

inglês Since I like Gerard Butler, this movie didn't sit well with me at all. I was looking forward to seeing it in the cinema, my girlfriend and I went to see it, but there wasn't really anything to laugh at throughout the whole time. If it wasn't for that storyline about him being a bounty hunter, it would really be about nothing. One of the reasons why I don't like Jennifer Aniston. Another reason is most of her other roles. ()

inglês Yuck. Boring. The only two reasons I watched the Bounty Hunter till the end was its rather good plot and the nice duo of actors in the main roles. Otherwise, the movie is a string of unfunny and only sometimes slightly amusing scenes that don’t make any sense. ()

inglês So the rumors didn't lie... The Bounty Hunter is a really, really bad movie. This is another comedy that lacks jokes and was meant to mainly attract audiences through familiar names. But what good are famous names when one of them is Gerard Butler, a man who should stick to beating Persians over the head and similar roles, and should definitely not be involved in comedies. His stilted delivery kills even the slightest opportunity to create a joke that someone else could have gotten out of a partnership with Jennifer Aniston... someone with comedic talent. Alas. ()
