Quando não é possível na vida real, o sol da Florida em janeiro dá prazer no cinema. E foi agradável ver Lopez também. De outro modo, é um filme medíocre com um enredo medíocre. Hackford conseguiu lidar bem com isso, mas sem prazer, tendo em conta a forma como enfrentou desafios de género muito maiores no passado (nomeadamente o O Advogado do Diabo). (30/01/2021)

This old-fashioned Stark’s detective story set in the present works quite well on the level of revenge on principle, but it starts creaking with the digression toward JLo. Statham was good as always in a familiar role, the action is solid and the beautiful Florida locations save the day. (09/05/2021)

A film with a hopelessly unpolished image. You can see it was directed by an older gentleman who lacks a killer talent and cannot turn it into either a thrilling action film or a sunny summer ride. Jason Statham's action potential is woefully underutilized, as well as the solid bad-ass feeling of the main villains. The only assets are a few solid hand-to-hand fights, surprisingly well-directed and sufficiently bloody, and Jennifer Lopez in a perfectly coordinated outfit. (06/07/2013)

Right at the beginning, a quite good scene excites with the clowns and a priest robbing a safe. However, the nearly two-hour running time drags a bit from the start. It's clear that the film cannot maintain its pace. It just can't. After the first spectacular action and a quite intense scene, it turns into a stupid comedy with J.Lo, who bends over once, shows off her impressive behind, which we have already seen many times (at least if she was naked during that). And then it's all about shooting someone and preaching a bit. Jason is great, but this time it's not enough. (25/11/2013)
