The United Monster Talent Agency

A tribute short to the most famous movie monsters of all time: Dracula, the Werewolf, the Mummy. I liked the retro touch and the presence of the above mentioned icons of the horror genre, but I wouldn't watch it again, even if it's only a few minutes long. An ode to classic effects and an ode to classic monsters from the United studio. Greg Nicotero is as much a lover of classic effects as I am, and here he showcased his love for them beautifully. We're tuned to the same wavelength, so I simply couldn't help but like this short film about the special talent agency. Plus, there's also that beautiful 1950s black-and-white aesthetic...
