Girlhouse

Tudo o que um grupo de adolescentes quer com pipocas numa sexta-feira à noite. Gatas em bikinis de todas as raças e arquétipos sexuais, webcams, uma personagem principal civil e bonita, o seu simpático namorado protetor, um pervertido maluco e um massacre sangrento. Girlhouse é uma combinação estranha de contradições criativas. O argumento brinca criativamente com todos os personagens e entretém com detalhes surpreendentes, apesar da natureza esquemática do enredo. Ao mesmo tempo, confunde com as indicações de produção de filmes amadora e a frequente estupidez. O seu maior trunfo é o próprio assassino, que ultrapassa até mesmo Leatherface mais duro em velocidade e radicalismo. É a brutalidade do massacre no último terço que é um crescimento surpreendente das anteriores apresentações de caracteres cultivadas. O que cria outro contraste interessante que torna o filme diferente de outros com ele parecidos. (23/06/2022)

For a slasher, it’s good. It has well portrayed and likeable characters, good craftsmanship, a psychopath that demands some respect and murders that, well, aren’t very creative, but I’ve seen much worse. From the name, the poster and the blurb I was expecting some amateur trash relying only on those girls, but in the end it actually works really well as a solid film murder-fest. By developing the plot, the film Girl House plays on psychological horror, but it really isn't that. In the end, it's just an ordinary slasher, where the birth of the villain is overly emphasized, but it turns out to be quite effective. The girls are quite attractive here, except for the fact that some of them are artificially enhanced. Overall, I'm rather disappointed because there could have been much more squeezed out of it than was achieved. (09/03/2016)
