The Other Woman is dull crap and a waste of time. What's most disappointing is that it was made by an otherwise brilliant and sensitive director of emotional flicks like The Notebook or My Sisters Keeper. ()
Squealing and shrieking mean women in a comedy where Nikolaj Coster-Waldau does whatever he wants with them. But he was also a bit stupid when he thought he would always get away with everything, so he gets what he deserves. I don’t want to ever see this movie again. The way Leslie Mann and Kate Upton were showing their emotions made it seem as if they were acting for free. Horrible. ()
More of a chick flick, but very entertaining to watch. The wife and mistresses get revenge on the unfaithful Lannister and some of the banter is very hilarious. Good fun with a sexy Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton. 65. ()
Despite my aversion to Cameron Diaz (I can count the movies I can stand her in on one hand), this comedy was quite tolerable, enjoyable, unadorned, and tasteful – well, certainly not tasteless. But it's mostly due to the amazing Leslie Mann, who entertained me from the very beginning to the very end. ()
The Other Woman is a typical American comedy that cannot surprise anyone with its plot, so it has to score plus points with the performances and funny scenes, both of which were average within the genre. Leslie Mann was a bit of a handful at times due to her hysterical outbursts, but she can act, she just had a bad role, but I found the performances of Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj quite dull. Cameron Diaz is really “washed”, but she can still play her part. As for the funny scenes, I have to admit that I had more than one good laugh, so mission accomplished. In short, a film that is one big old familiar cliché that degrades the female species, but it’s entertaining if you don’t take it seriously. ()
Oh no... While there are a few good moments and Kate Upton has nice breasts, the way it twists at the end, how the right ones win, is so predictable that it's hard to bear. Just another bit of Hollywood nonsense that doesn't shy away from toilet humor, which in this portrayal, adds nothing worthwhile. Well, that's all I expected, and that's all I got. ()
