Viharsarok

Szabolcz is a young Hungarian footballer, playing for a German team. His best friend is his roommate Bernard, for whom he hides hidden feelings. After a defeat in a crucial match and an argument between them, Szabolcz returns to Hungary to live a simple life on his grandfather’s farm. Here he meets young villager Áron, whom he hires to help him renovate the dilapidated house. As they get closer and become lovers, Bernard suddenly arrives from Germany to pursue a relationship with Szabolcz. For a while, the three young men live together in a rustic idyll of the Hungarian countryside, but as the title suggests, Ádám Császi steers his masterly directed drama into a dark, stormy finale.
