Muito pouco erotismo e nenhum horror num pretenso filme de terror erótico. O conhecido euro-trasher Jesús Franco aposta desta vez num enredo e em personagens mais firmes, em vez de cenas excitantes e sem sentido. A questão é o que se qualifica como um enredo mais firme para os seus padrões, e se algum dos seus filmes pode ser atrativo sem estas cenas. Se assim for, não é certamente o caso de Vampyros Lesbos. Embora as duas atrizes nos papéis principais sejam deliciosas.

With Vampyros Lesbos, Jesús Franco simply showed that he has made a lot of movies, and enjoyed filming women's breasts, but didn't really give it any genuinely interesting form. It turned out to be a film that has a little bit of nudity, but worst of all, there is nothing horror-like to call it a horror. In this example, Jesús Franco certainly didn't demonstrate any great abilities, and it's hard to even talk about its cult status.
