Um crossover de drama de fantasmas e thriller de assassinato, com uma imersão íntima na personagem principal ao lidar com a morte do seu irmão enquanto procurava por si própria. O filme faz um excelente uso da profundidade emocional de Kristen Stewart, perseguindo-a a cada passo do caminho, em cada balanço emocional que ela passa como se estivesse entre gotas de chuva. Só na cena mais íntima e de masturbação é que a câmara a deixa sozinha no quarto de dormir. A melhor cena editada, de quinze minutos (!) de SMS de sempre. Um brinquedo cinematográfico agradavelmente arrepiante de De Palma, mergulhado em mistério e ambiguidade, uma experiência sensorial estimulante. E eu gosto disto. [Cannes] (19/05/2016)

From the first moment to the last, a personal tale that gets deep under the skin of the main heroine. But there all the intensity ends. In the introspective, almost demonstratively modest layer of the closed shopper, in the magic of normalcy. I still have yet to decipher the genre deviations for ghosts, I myself refused the voluntary path of doubt towards reports of the unknown, even despite its undeniable power. At the moment when piercing narrative questions are posed, I could finally properly get into that otherness, but the unsettling ambiguity of the answers is cowardly and the grinding of previous points by the conclusion itself is like a waste. A strange film that brings together genres that could have worked separately. A drama about a girl who is tired of her job and is trying to get over the death of her twin. But it's also a mystery thriller with literally horror scenes. Even though some scenes individually work interestingly, overall, even with the last scene, there isn't any significant spiritual fulfillment. (16/05/2017)
