Nos bastidores das Vaquejadas, Iremar e um grupo de vaqueiros preparam os bois antes de solta-los na arena. Levando a vida na estrada, o caminhão que transporta os bois para o evento é também a casa improvisada de Iremar e seus colegas de trabalho: Zé, Negão, Galega e sua filha Cacá. O cotidiano é intenso e visceral, mas algo inspira novas ambições em Iremar: a recente industrialização e o polo de confecção de roupas na região do semi-árido nordestino. Deitado em sua rede na traseira do caminhão, sua cabeça divaga em sonhos de lantejoulas, tecidos requintados e croquis. O vaqueiro esboça novos desejos. (Imovision)

A nice curiosity, which is based on the rather simple breaking of the macho stereotype, a nice but not dazzling visual and a dull atmosphere, where sewing is actually the same thing as pulling a bull into the sand. Jokes with a masturbating a horse and a textile pregnant fuck are exactly the type of scenes that make a festival, but as a whole a rather forgettable film by an undeniably talented director. #kviff2016

I don't like these movies very much. They're not trying to do anything more than capture interesting human stories or an interesting way of life. It succeeds in that, but the film just doesn't do anything for me. It's good, it's surprisingly well made, but little of this film will stay in my head, although the final sex scene was good.
