The Cursed

The Malaysian-Hong Kong film The Cursed doesn't bring anything interesting to the table, it's certainly not a ghost movie that tries to be Asian or somehow different and interesting. In fact, it goes so far as to be more akin to Asian films, which basically means that it's devoid of atmosphere and more about trying to entertain the viewer. It's a shame because this could have been pretty gritty in places. (29/07/2019)
